Position Overview
Reporting directly to the Client Service Manager, the Registered Nurse (RN) is a regulated member of the interprofessional health care team responsible for completing comprehensive client assessments, developing and implementing client plans and care that address both physical and psycho‑social needs. The RN monitors ongoing client care and conditions to ensure optimum functioning and assumes professional accountability for complex or unstable clients.
Key Responsibilities- Complete comprehensive client assessments.
- Develop and implement client care plans that address physical and psycho‑social needs.
- Monitor ongoing client care and conditions to ensure optimum functioning.
- Administer prescribed medications and supervise delivery of medications by unregulated staff.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
- Teach, counsel and advocate to enhance health and well‑being of clients and families.
- Provide direct care to clients.
- Participate in quality improvement activities and serve as case manager and client advocate.

Non‑Union - Pay Rate: $39.21 – $51.46 plus applicable Educational Allowance

- Graduation from a recognized nursing program.
- BScN is preferred.
- CNA Certification (e.g., Gerontology, Rehabilitation, Hospice and Palliative Nursing) is an asset.
- Current and active registration with CARNA required.
- Current and active Basic Life Support Provider CPR required.
- Three years nursing experience preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership skills required.
