Registered Nurse - Trauma Surgery Unit

Join our dedicated health care team as a Registered Nurse on the Trauma/Surgery unit at Foothills Medical Centre. Provide patient-centered care to individuals with poly-trauma and surgical needs during acute care phases.

As a Registered Nurse at AHS, you'll deliver nursing services to patients and their families while ensuring safety and well-being. Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills in your nursing processes, advocate for patient needs, and promote health maintenance. This part-time position requires active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta and a commitment to collaborative practice in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care

• Support health promotion and maintenance initiatives

• Teach and counsel patients and families

• Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team

• Ensure safety in high-acuity care settings

Requirements:

• Accredited nursing education completion

• Active registration with the CRNA

• BCLS-HCP certification

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Recent acute care experience preferred
