Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care in the operating room environment

• Advocate for patients with sound nursing judgment

• Use evidence-based practices to improve outcomes

• Communicate effectively across health care teams

• Demonstrate managerial skills in a complex setting

Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited practical nurse program

• Registration eligibility with Alberta CLPNA

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required

• Completion of perioperative nursing course essential

• Capacity to wear PPE and remain scrubbed during procedures
