As a Registered Nurse at Age Care, you will work under the Director of Care, coordinating nursing services within the residence. Your expertise in geriatric care will inform your responsibilities, including leading shift reports and documenting resident condition changes. With a strong focus on quality, you'll ensure that medical orders are promptly implemented.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate nursing services for residents with healthcare teams
• Lead shift reports to communicate resident status
• Record changes in residents' conditions accurately
• Process and implement physician orders efficiently
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations and standards
• Geriatric care experience in rehabilitation settings
• Registration in good standing with provincial registry
