As a CNS, you will be instrumental in providing consultative support, managing palliative symptoms, and educating on goals of care. You will actively engage with professionals across healthcare disciplines to enhance the quality of palliative care. Your responsibilities will also include developing programs that promote a seamless continuum of care for patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
• Consult on managing complex palliative symptoms
• Educate healthcare teams on pain and symptom management
• Develop and evaluate palliative care policies
• Provide leadership for enhanced patient care strategies
• Manage competing priorities and emotional conversations
Requirements:
• Master's degree in Nursing with a focus on palliative care
• 5-7 years of acute care experience
• Registration with CRNA
• Current BCLS certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
