Position: Licensed Practical Nurse with Optima Living

Reporting to the Director of Care, you will contribute to the holistic care of residents, focusing on personalized treatment plans and delivering direct nursing services. You’ll also engage with families and interdisciplinary teams, ensuring comprehensive patient support in a warm, welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating and updating resident care plans

• Administer medications and perform health assessments

• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting

• Promote comfort and dignity in end-of-life care

• Mentor and support Health Care Aides in their roles

Requirements:

• Completed an approved nursing program

• Current nursing license from AB College of Registered Nurses

• Prior experience in a residential or care setting is beneficial

• CPR and First Aid certifications must be up to date

• Strong problem-solving abilities and communication skills
