Make a difference at Optima Living as a Compassionate Registered Nurse committed to enhancing senior care. This position involves working closely within a nurturing environment dedicated to resident wellbeing in Alberta and British Columbia.
Reporting to the Director of Care, you will engage with residents, develop personalized care plans, and contribute to a culture of dignity and respect. Your nursing practices will align with Optima Living’s mission to foster a home-like environment for seniors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and review personal care plans with staff
• Provide direct nursing care and medication administration
• Monitor and document residents’ health statuses
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on care
• Conduct training for new health care team members
Requirements:
• Active nursing license from the AB College of Registered Nurses
• Graduation from an approved nursing program
• CPR and First Aid certifications needed
• Ability to work effectively in teams and independently
• Flexibility to accommodate shift work
