In this role, you'll be an integral member of the maternal child health care team in Unit 64, which expertly handles both postpartum and surgical patient care. Your responsibilities will include assessing, planning, and implementing effective nursing solutions to promote patient recovery and health. Your decision-making and organizational skills will be essential as you provide tailored education and support to families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care for postpartum mothers and newborns

• Assess and plan nursing interventions for patient recovery

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal care

• Educate patients and families on health management

• Maintain compliance with nursing standards and legislation

Requirements:

• Completed accredited practical nurse education program

• Current registration with the CLPNA or eligibility

• Recent experience in maternal-child care

• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS-HCP)

• Capacity to physically assist in patient care tasks
