Join the Surgical Suites team as a Registered Nurse at Peter Lougheed Centre. Must have completed perioperative training to provide excellent patient care.
In this pivotal role as a Registered Nurse (RN), you will focus on delivering high-quality care in the operating room. Your expertise in critical thinking, problem-solving, and advocacy will support both patients and families throughout their surgical experiences. You are essential in promoting health and protecting patient safety according to established standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care
• Engage in critical assessments and patient teaching
• Advocate for patients during their surgical journey
• Collaborate effectively within a complex team
• Maintain high standards of patient safety and care
Requirements:
• Completion of an accredited nursing program
• Registration and practice permit with CRNA
• Valid BCLS-HCP certification
• Recent experience in an OR
• Stamina to wear lead during procedures
