The Faculty of Nursing seeks Sessional Nursing Instructors for its BScN program covering Fall Semester 2026 and Winter Semester 2027. Instructors must have nursing practice experience particularly in rural long-term care and community environments. The role encompasses both on-site labs and off-campus clinical education.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate onsite and remote clinical simulations
• Work with students in various care settings
• Participate in team meetings related to courses
• Conduct student assessments and evaluations
• Implement diverse teaching strategies and foster inquiry
Requirements:
• Eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta
• BN/BScN preparation preferred
• Experience in clinical teaching and mentoring
• Engagement with Indigenous health practices
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
