Reporting to the Director of Care, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to provide quality nursing care that enhances resident well-being. In this regular part-time role, you'll assess residents, implement care plans, and manage medications while ensuring compliance with all regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct accurate resident assessments and maintain documentation
• Implement and evaluate individualized care plans
• Participate in resident care conferences and scheduling
• Manage medication administration safely and effectively
• Collaborate with physicians and care team for effective service delivery
Requirements:
• Active Licensed Practical Nurse registration in Alberta
• Experience in long-term care or senior care preferred
• Strong clinical knowledge and excellent communication skills
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Willingness to complete a Vulnerable Sector Check
