As a part-time Registered Nurse, you will work under the Director of Care, coordinating services for residents.
Your role includes leading team reports, documenting resident conditions, and ensuring that physician orders are processed timely. With a foundation in geriatric and long-term care nursing, you will inspire a culture of safety and support at Age Care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate nursing services for residents within Age Care communities
• Lead shift reports, updating the healthcare team on resident status
• Document significant changes in residents’ health accurately
• Review and implement physician orders following protocols
• Promote health and safety awareness within the team
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Background in geriatric or long-term care nursing
• Registration in good standing with provincial nursing registry
• Knowledge of relevant health regulations and acts
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive culture
