As an RN at Age Care, you'll report to the Director of Care, responsible for delivering direct resident services and managing medication administration. You'll collaborate with a diverse team to keep care assessments updated and to facilitate care plans that prioritize residents' health and wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer medications and ensure regulatory compliance
• Coordinate and manage resident care assignments
• Educate residents and families regarding care plans
• Supervise unregulated care staff in daily tasks
• Participate in care conferences to align on resident needs
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse with active license in British Columbia
• Experience with gerontological nursing is preferred
• Proficiency in written and oral communication
• Effective time management and critical thinking skills
• Current Vulnerable Position/Sector Screening required
