Position: Registered Nurse for Extended Stay Nights

In this casual night position, you will provide vital nursing care for orthopedic patients post-surgery. You will leverage your skills in critical thinking and problem-solving while adhering to the standards set by the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta. This role requires excellent communication and collaborative abilities to work alongside other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Directly care for post-operative orthopedic patients

• Conduct routine vitals and patient rounding

• Initiate intravenous therapy for patients

• Uphold infection control policies in patient care

• Maintain accurate documentation of nursing activities

Requirements:

• Valid CRNA and BLS/ACLS certifications on file

• 2-3 years recent experience in acute care

• Excellent organizational and assessment skills

• Preferred orthopedic nursing experience

• Ability to work under pressure in emergencies
