Registered Midwife Position

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Midwife for a one-year locum role, starting August 1, 2025, with options for extension or a permanent position. At Phoenix Midwives, you will enhance your skills in home birth, emergency care, and well-women services while working within a community-focused practice. Our clinic prioritizes social justice and equity in providing midwifery care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide midwifery care to diverse populations

• Deliver care in home and clinic settings

• Practice emergency and lab skills effectively

• Conduct well-women care and contraception counseling

• Guide clients through labor, inductions, and epidurals

Requirements:

• Registered Midwife qualified to work in Canada

• Experience serving vulnerable communities

• Multilingual skills (Spanish, Arabic, Punjabi, Farsi)

• Commitment to equity in healthcare
