Work as a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse at Alpha House, providing compassionate care in a supportive environment.
Your role will center on client health education and infection prevention efforts.
Alpha House seeks an experienced LPN to deliver health services focused on individuals dealing with addiction and mental health. You will engage in care planning, health education on critical topics, and collaborate in a team-oriented practice model. Your responsibilities include infection control and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform independent nursing functions for clients with substance use disorder
• Maintain best practices in infection prevention and control
• Provide health education on STBBIs, nutrition, and medication management
• Support influenza clinics and vaccinations
• Develop and participate in comprehensive care plans
Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• 2–3 years' experience in addictions nursing preferred
• Active registration with CLPNA/CRNA/CRPNA
• Valid CPR certification required
• Strong time management and critical thinking skills
