Join Assisted Living Alberta as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Home Care, making a difference in the community. This role involves providing direct nursing care and case management in Chestermere and Strathmore.
As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you'll be an integral part of an inter professional healthcare team. Your responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care needs of clients of all ages. You'll travel to clients' homes, requiring both a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle. Training and resources will be provided to ensure safe practice and equipment handling.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and evaluate home care client needs
• Collaborate with Registered Nurse Case Home Care Manager
• Plan and implement nursing care strategies
• Perform critical inquiry and assessment processes
• Travel within the Chestermere and Strathmore areas
Requirements:
• Completion of an accredited practical nurse program
• Active registration with CLPNA
• Recent home care or acute care experience (2 years)
• Proficiency in computer use for documentation
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
