In this full-time role, you will report to the Director of Care and provide optimal support to clients and their families, utilizing a harm reduction approach. Your responsibilities include leading nursing processes, supervising Health Care Aides, and maintaining strict adherence to TPFA policies and CLPNA standards. You are expected to respond effectively to client concerns and complete thorough assessments to allocate resources accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain collaboration with Alberta Health Services Case Managers
• Supervise and direct Health Care Aide staff
• Conduct nursing assessments and document care plans
• Provide direct client care and administer medications
• Lead client care conferences with families when needed
Requirements:
• Completion of an accredited LPN education program
• Active registration or eligibility with the CLPNA
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
• Experience in supportive living environments
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
