Bethany Care Society seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to deliver exemplary care centered on residents' needs. This casual position involves assessing resident conditions, documenting care accurately, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. You'll play a crucial role within the Interdisciplinary Team, promoting independence and facilitating resident choice while addressing their holistic needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct nursing assessments to define care plans
• Document care activities accurately and thoroughly
• Ensure a safe environment for residents and staff
• Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team effectively
• Lead and mentor Health Care Aides when needed
Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program
• Active registration with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta
• Previous LPN experience preferred
• Current CPR certification required
• Strong English communication skills essential
