Medicentres is seeking an entry-level Licensed Practical Nurse to provide support to patients and physicians. The position involves greeting patients, assisting with minor procedures, and performing critical diagnostic tests. You'll collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team to improve service delivery across multiple locations in Canada while adhering to core values.
Key Responsibilities:
• Register and greet patients upon arrival
• Assist with surgical procedures and examinations
• Conduct diagnostic tests as per physician orders
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting
• Schedule appointments and manage patient communications
Requirements:
• Diploma from an accredited institution
• Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses
• Minimum of one year in customer service
• Familiarity with Med Access software preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
