The Emergency Department at Peter Lougheed Centre is hiring LPNs for part-time roles as we prepare to fully reopen. This position is for resilient nurses skilled in communication and assessment who can thrive under pressure. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring patient safety and comfort, while adhering to CLPNA practice standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide care to patients experiencing a range of emergencies

• Work alongside an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals

• Engage in critical thinking and effective problem solving

• Follow legislative standards and policies in nursing practice

• Ensure a safe and compassionate environment for patients

Requirements:

• Completion of a recognized practical nursing program

• Active registration with Alberta’s CLPNA

• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification

• 2–4 years of practical nursing experience

• Prior experience in an emergency setting is advantageous
