Age Care is looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to enhance lives at Walden Heights. In this temporary part-time role, your nursing skills will directly assist our senior residents.
As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will implement a person-centered approach to care while working closely with the Director of Care. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, update care plans, and ensure all documentation meets provincial standards.
Your role also involves assisting with resident conferences and providing essential nursing care, including administering medications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct clinical assessments and manage care plans effectively
• Document all care provided in compliance with regulatory standards
• Facilitate care conferences to involve families in planning
• Deliver direct care and medication management efficiently
• Collaborate with team members to enhance resident care
Requirements:
• Practical Nurse Diploma required; 3+ years of experience preferred
• Valid registration and CPR training in good standing
• Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office
• Leadership skills and a focus on teamwork
