Join Alpha House as a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse delivering vital healthcare services to individuals facing addiction. Your focus will include health education and support in a collaborative setting.
We are looking for a dedicated LPN with a strong background in addictions nursing who is committed to client-centered care. You will perform nursing functions within the CLPNA scope, provide essential health teaching, and develop care plans. This role also involves overseeing compliance standards and managing infection control protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct independent nursing functions for clients in need
• Provide comprehensive health education on various topics
• Support vaccination clinics, including influenza and Naloxone training
• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards
• Collaborate with the integrated practice team on client care plans
Requirements:
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• 2-3 years of relevant nursing experience preferred
• Valid CPR certification and current registration
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to handle challenging situations effectively
