Perioperative Registered Nurse Position

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will play an essential role in both the Operating Room and Minor Surgery Clinic. Your experience and training will allow you to deliver effective perioperative care while advocating for patients and their families. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver perioperative care in scrub and circulating functions

• Educate and advocate for patients and families

• Collaborate within multidisciplinary surgical teams

• Support patient safety throughout the hospital stay

• Maintain practice standards and professional development

Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited nursing education program

• Eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta

• Active Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS-HCP) certification

• Recent OR experience within 5 years

• Completion of a recognized perioperative program
