As a key part of the interdisciplinary team at Age Care, the Licensed Practical Nurse plays an essential role in resident care. With a focus on dementia care and interpersonal skills, you will monitor patient conditions and make meaningful connections. Your work will impact the lives of residents while allowing you to operate within your full nursing scope.
Key Responsibilities:
• Communicate with management, residents, and families
• Monitor residents' conditions and well-being
• Provide compassionate care tailored to individual needs
• Participate in best practice programs
• Support an interdisciplinary approach to care
Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year of experience with seniors
• Excellence in dementia care and communication
• Completion of an accredited LPN program
• Active registration with provincial nursing college
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
