Registered Nurse

This is a temporary position from January 12, 2026 - May 20, 2026

The incumbent is responsible for providing quality-nursing care to patients and their families in the Outpatient Emergency Department.

• Current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Current A.C.L.S. Certificate or willingness to attain at own expense.
• Minimum of two (2) years acute care experience in an active treatment setting.
• Emergency course or ENC.
• Triage training or willingness to obtain.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuing education.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the Nursing Process and the Standards of Nursing Practice of the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Demonstrated excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently at times without supervision.
• Demonstrates good assessment, judgement, decision-making and documentation skills.

• Coronary care certificate.
• Previous experience in an Emergency Department.
