Key Responsibilities Clinical Leadership Lead, coach, and mentor Clinical Supervisors in delivering exceptional patient care.

Provide clinical guidance and support to frontline nursing staff.

Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Act as the primary clinical resource for complex care issues and escalations.

Operations & Quality Monitor care delivery, clinical outcomes, and operational performance indicators.

Oversee Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives and corrective action plans.

Review, investigate, and follow up on client safety incidents.

Ensure compliance with organizational policies, professional standards, and regulatory requirements.

Develop and manage the on-call schedule for Clinical Supervisors.

Team Leadership Participate in recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, coaching, and performance management of Clinical Supervisors.

Ensure staff complete all mandatory education and competency requirements.

Support employee engagement, professional development, and succession planning.

Client & Stakeholder Relations Respond to clinical concerns from staff, contractors, clients, families, and funding agencies.

Participate in care conferences with healthcare teams, funders, and community partners.

Build strong relationships with multidisciplinary teams and external healthcare organizations.

Demonstrate respect for cultural diversity, privacy, dignity, and confidentiality in every interaction.

Professional Practice Stay current with industry best practices through ongoing education, professional networks, and conferences.

Promote evidence-based clinical practice across the organization.

Qualifications Education & Registration Current registration in good standing as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) preferred.

Experience Minimum of 3 years of formal nursing leadership experience.

Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience as an RN in a community healthcare setting.

Experience leading multidisciplinary healthcare teams is considered an asset.

Knowledge & Skills Strong understanding of Alberta healthcare legislation and professional standards, including:

Mental Health Act Substitute Decisions Act Health Care Consent legislation

Privacy and Personal Health Information legislation

Working knowledge of community nursing best practices, including:

Palliative Care Wound CareIV Therapy Chronic Disease Management Excellent leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.

Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and healthcare information systems.

Additional Requirements Current Canadian First Aid and CPR certification (issued within the past 12 months).Valid Class 5 Alberta driver's license.

Reliable, fully insured vehicle available for work-related travel.

Ability to work flexible hours to support operational requirements.
