As a Critical Care Nursing Officer with the CAF, you will provide critical care to ill and injured members, working in various environments, including hospitals and operational units. You will be at the forefront of patient care and medical evacuation, ensuring the highest standards are met in both routine and crisis situations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive patient care in critical settings
• Collaborate with health care teams effectively
• Lead nursing care delivery within your practice area
• Participate in training and education for continuous improvement
• Engage in medical evacuation operations both domestically and internationally
Requirements:
• University degree and RN license in Canada
• Previous civilian experience in critical care
• Successful completion of Rank Qualification Lieutenant training
• Certification in critical care nursing
• Willingness to relocate for military postings
