As a fundamental member of the care team, the Registered Nurse will collaborate closely with the Director of Care to address the individual needs of residents. This role requires a strong background in geriatric care, rehabilitation, and adherence to nursing standards. You will provide quality nursing services while championing safety and ethical practices among residents, families, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate nursing services for residents effectively
• Lead shift reports to ensure team communication
• Document significant changes in residents’ conditions accurately
• Process and implement physician orders promptly
• Communicate concerns regarding physician orders proactively
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Knowledge in long-term care nursing regulations
• Registration with the provincial nursing registry
• Strong awareness of health and safety laws
• Experience in geriatric or rehabilitation nursing
