As a Licensed Practical Nurse at the Calgary Drop-In Centre (the DI), you will provide compassionate nursing care and support for clients within your scope of practice. Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver client-centered nursing care and support
• Administer immunizations and treatments respectfully
• Conduct accessible health education on wellness topics
• Provide expertise in phlebotomy and lab services
• Assess needs and develop personalized health strategies
Requirements:
• Two-year Practical Nursing diploma completion
• Registration with the CLPNA in good standing
• Current CPR certification
• Understanding of Trauma Informed Care
• Knowledge of addiction and mental health issues
