In this integral position, you'll work within the PES team to assess and develop care plans based on individual patient needs.
Your role emphasizes trauma-informed care and collaborative problem-solving, ensuring patients receive the best support and management in their recovery journey. Your expertise will play a vital role in emergency psychiatric care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver bedside care and conduct thorough assessments
• Collaborate on treatment plans with healthcare professionals
• Develop and implement individualized care strategies
• Support patient referrals to suitable services
• Provide education on mental health management
Requirements:
• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• Registration eligibility with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta
• 1 year of mental health experience preferred
• Proficient in mental health legislation and therapeutic techniques
• Strong teamwork and organizational skills
