As a Registered Nurse (RN) on the Regularized Relief Team Surgical, you will deliver comprehensive nursing care to surgical patients. This includes critical thinking, problem solving, training, and advocating for patients. You will support health promotion initiatives while ensuring patient safety across diverse surgical units.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing assessments and implement patient care plans
• Deliver quality care in diverse surgical environments
• Advocate for patient needs and educate families
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary health care teams
• Ensure compliance with hand hygiene and safety protocols
Requirements:
• Accredited nursing education program completion
• Active registration with College of Registered Nurses of Alberta
• 1-year surgical nursing experience required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
