Perioperative Registered Nurse

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in this part-time role, you will cover various nursing services, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients during surgical procedures. You will apply critical thinking and problem-solving to advocate for patients and families while collaborating within a skilled surgical team. Your responsibilities include acting in both scrub and circulating roles, grounding your practice in evidence-based measures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide perioperative patient care in the surgical suite

• Support surgical team activities in scrub and circulating roles

• Utilize nursing processes for patient advocacy and education

• Work within established clinical practice standards

• Reflect shared vision and values while ensuring quality care

Requirements:

• Completed accredited nursing education program

• Active registration with CRNA or eligible for permit

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS-HCP) certified

• Completion of a recognized perioperative program

• Recent OR experience within the last 5 years
