As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be essential in providing perioperative care, ensuring patient safety and comfort in the surgical suite. Working under CRNA and ORNAC standards, you’ll take vital steps utilizing evidence-based measures and a holistic approach to patient advocacy. Join a collaborative surgical team committed to excellence in patient care and health promotion.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide patient care within the surgical suite
• Evaluate and ensure adherence to professional standards
• Act as a patient advocate, linking units and OR
• Demonstrate competency in scrub and circulating roles
• Engage in continuous professional development and education
Requirements:
• Accredited nursing education completion
• Active registration with CRNA or eligibility
• BCLS-HCP certification required
• Recent OR experience within the last 5 years
• Ability to support the surgical team physically
Contribute to quality patient experiences alongside a dedicated surgical team at Peter Lougheed Centre.
