Resident Care Manager Registered Nurse

Lead resident care services at Age Care Dawson in Chestermere using clinical nursing expertise, leadership, and person-centred care practices.

The Resident Care Manager oversees long-term care operations and reports to the Director of Care. This temporary full-time position coordinates assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The manager supports resident wellness while maintaining applicable provincial standards, guidelines, and regulations.

• Manage resident care services across the long-term care residence
• Oversee resident welcoming, move-ins, and completed assessments
• Schedule pre-move-in, move-in, and annual care conferences
• Provide feedback and enforce policies, procedures, and standards
• Assume department or residence management responsibilities when leaders are absent

• At least five years of progressive clinical nursing experience
• At least five years of leadership experience
• Current provincial registration in good standing
• Current Basic Life Support or CPR certification
• Fluent English communication, orally and in writing
