Registered Nurses deliver patient-centered trauma and surgical care at Foothills Medical Centre during the acute care phase. Apply nursing processes across high-acuity patient needs.
This regular part-time Registered Nurse position serves PCU 44 Trauma/Surgery within a multidisciplinary team. Care includes poly-trauma and general surgical patients, with critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making. Nurses teach, counsel, advocate, and support patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive care to poly-trauma patients
Provide nursing services during acute care
Apply critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making
Teach, counsel, and advocate for patients and families
Support integrated, holistic patient care
Requirements:
Accredited nursing education program completion
Active or eligible CRNA registration and practice permit
Current BCLS-HCP certification
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
N95 fit testing capability
Bring trauma and surgical nursing expertise, patient advocacy, and multidisciplinary collaboration to Registered Nurse care in PCU 44.
