Licensed Practical Nurse Walden Heights

Licensed Practical Nurses provide person-centered care at Age Care Walden Heights in Calgary, using clinical assessments and medication administration. This regular full-time position supports residents and families.

Reporting to the Director of Care, the experienced LPN provides planned, patient-oriented, goal-directed nursing care. The work includes care plans, documentation, resident transfers, and inter-professional collaboration. Provincial standards and Resident Care policies guide daily practice.

• Provide direct resident care using a person-centered approach
• Complete accurate clinical assessments and care documentation
• Implement and evaluate care and service plans
• Administer medications and treatments according to standards
• Support resident move-ins, move-outs, and transfers

• Practical Nurse Diploma
• Current provincial registration and membership in good standing
• Three or more years of seniors’ health experience
• Current CPR training
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
