Licensed Practical Nurse Continuing Care

Licensed Practical Nurses with strong assessment skills can guide resident care at Covenant Care while supporting individualized nursing processes and end-of-life dignity.
Reporting to the Resident Care Manager, this LPN manages daily care delivery and empowers the care team. The position coordinates with interdisciplinary professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care. It also supports residents, families, and visitors through end-of-life journeys.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day delivery of resident care
Motivate and empower the care team
Coordinate individualized nursing processes with interdisciplinary professionals
Ensure care follows Covenant Care policies and procedures
Support dignity, privacy, choice, and individuality
Requirements:
Graduate of an approved Practical Nurse Program
Current College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta registration
Current CPR, First Aid, or equivalent certification
Strong critical assessment and active listening skills
Continuing care knowledge and ability to manage difficult behaviors
