As a temporary LPN and student support specialist, you will assist with elementary grade medical needs, personal care, complex medical needs, and g-tube feeding. The work includes monitoring health, administering treatments, collaborating with partners, and supporting learning. Accurate documentation and a safe environment remain essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor student health and report concerning changes promptly
Administer medications and treatments as directed
Provide tracheostomy, airway monitoring, suctioning, and g-tube feeding
Maintain accurate, updated care documentation
Provide educational support and collaborate with partners
Requirements:
Valid, active Alberta Licensed Practical Nurse license
LPN licence or certification required
English language ability required
Ability to work full-time day shifts
Ability to reliably commute or relocate to Red Deer
Bring licensed practical nursing, complex medical care, and student support skills to St. Elizabeth Seton School in Red Deer.
