Licensed Practical Nurses provide wound care and personal care for private clients through Nurse Next Door’s in-home care model. Flexible schedules support visits where clients live.
This Licensed Practical Nurse position requires one year of nursing experience and current CLPNA registration. You will follow care plans, complete documentation, and perform tasks within the LPN scope of practice. The work includes companionship, medication administration, safety support, and household assistance.
Key Responsibilities:- Execute client care plans outlined by the Care Designer
- Perform wound care and medication administration within LPN scope
- Provide personal care, companionship, and meal preparation
- Meet client safety needs and use equipment properly
- Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly
- One year of previous nursing experience
- Graduation from a recognized nursing program
- Current registration with the CLPNA
- Current TB screen, CPR, and criminal record check
- Valid driver’s license and legal ability to work in Canada
