Casual Licensed Practical Nurse

Licensed Practical Nurse opportunity at Age Care Mount Royal in Calgary, focused on clinical care, medications, and person-centered nursing.

Reporting to the Director of Care, this casual LPN delivers goal-directed, patient-focused care under provincial standards. The work includes assessments, care plans, documentation, medication administration, treatments, and coordination. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team supporting resident dignity and well-being.

• Provide direct nursing care, medications, and treatments
• Maintain resident assessments, care plans, and documentation
• Coordinate care with physicians and service providers
• Respond to condition changes and medical emergencies
• Educate residents and families about care plans

• Current provincial or state Licensed Practical Nurse registration
• Senior care or long-term care experience preferred
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Electronic documentation and Microsoft Office proficiency
• Current Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain
