Licensed Practical Nurse

Licensed Practical Nurse needed in Calgary for resident-centered care, nursing assessments, documentation, and interdisciplinary teamwork. This is a temporary, part-time position at Bethany Calgary.
Bethany Care Society seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse for its Heartland - ALC unit. The role supports residents, families, and volunteers within the designated scope of practice. Care follows resident plans, Bethany policies, established procedures, and regulatory requirements while promoting dignity, choice, and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough nursing assessments and prioritize resident care
Document assessments, interventions, outcomes, and reports accurately
Identify and report unsafe workplace conditions promptly
Participate in care conferences and interdisciplinary meetings
Direct and supervise Health Care Aides when necessary
Requirements:
Graduate of a recognized Licensed Practical Nursing program
Active CLHA registration in good standing
Current CPR certification
Excellent observation, communication, and critical thinking skills
Effective English reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension
Use nursing assessment, documentation, and collaborative care skills to support residents as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Bethany Calgary.
