Support construction-site health services with Ellis Don as a Registered Nurse managing treatment, referrals, records, and medical supplies.
Ellis Don’s Registered Nurse manages onsite care for employees and subcontractors across project assignments. You will oversee injury and illness treatment, communicate emergency hospital updates, maintain secure records, and support facility readiness. The work also includes meetings, supply notifications, daily coordination, and medical database maintenance for reporting and follow-up.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee employee and subcontractor injury and illness treatment
- Refer patients to physicians or hospitals and coordinate follow-up
- Notify the HSE Project Manager about patient status
- Identify required medical supplies, medications, and equipment
- Attend meetings supporting onsite medical facility operations
- Registered with Alberta’s College and Association of Registered Nurses
- Current CPR/AED Health Care Provider level
- Advanced First Aid course approved by Alberta
- Knowledge of medical record keeping requirements and HSE standards
- Open to developing Health and Safety Practitioner capabilities
