  High school or college courses in small engine equipment repair or related courses
• Experience:
  
  2 years of related experience (an apprenticeship program in small engines or equipment repair may be considered in lieu of experience).

• Reel sharpening and tuning of mowing heads
• Checking height on mowing units
• General daily maintenance of equipment, such as greasing, checking filters, and fluid levels
• Minor repair/parts replacement when needed
• Maintenance of all small equipment, from trimmers, push mowers, sod cutters, turbine blowers, greens rollers, and golf carts
• Occasionally assist with cultural practices such as topdressing, aeration, or soil remediation (including seeding)
