Western Veterinary Specialist and Emergency Centre is seeking a board-certified Radiologist to join our small animal specialty, referral, and 24-hour emergency practice in Calgary, Alberta. We also welcome applicants nearing the completion of their residency training and awaiting board exams.

Schedule: This role offers flexibility, including casual and part-time work, with a hybrid arrangement between clinical radiology and teleradiology.

Founded in 2001, WVSEC is dedicated to serving veterinarians and pet owners by offering state-of-the-art specialty and emergency veterinary services at one of Canada's most comprehensive facilities. Our team includes specialists in Critical Care, Dermatology, Oncology, Radiology, Surgery, Internal Medicine, along with 24-hour emergency and rehabilitation services. Our hospital features digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, fluoroscopy, CT, linear accelerator, ventilator, diagnostic lab, and monitoring equipment.

We are expanding to include a Neurology department and MRI. Our large referral base includes over 75 hospitals in a 1.2 million population area.

Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate possesses a positive, collegial personality, strong communication skills, and enjoys collaborating with other specialists and emergency doctors. We also train interns and students in partnership with the University of Calgary.
