Veterinarian

Compensation: $120,000 CAD Fulltime 31.5 hours.

Calgary North Animal Hospital & 24 Hour Emergency in Calgary Albertais currently recruiting for a Veterinarian to join our team of highly engaged and professional veterinary professionals.

In this role, you will manage caseload that includes;
General Practice, Urgent Care and Emergency cases. You understand the importance of collaborating with the pet-owner and the support team to provide the best care possible to your patient. You are confident in operating various medical equipment and performing medical procedures; physical examinations, immunization and various surgeries.

Key responsibilities:

A valid DVM from an accredited university allowing for full license in Alberta
Ability to work on multiple cases and appointments through out the shift for small companion animals; canine and feline mostly and pocket pets.
Dedicated to promoting team-based medicine practices
Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with your colleagues, pet parents and community
A passion for coaching and mentoring student veterinary professionals along the way (seasonal)
