Mukwah Rafting is looking to hire for the 2026 summer Season! This year we are looking to add

• -2 Whitewater rafting guides
• -Class III+ Trip Leader
• -Base manager
• -Base Staff

This is a full-time on-site role for a Whitewater Rafting Guide based in Sundre, AB. Mukwah currently operates day trips through class II-III+ rapids on the Panther and Red Deer Rivers From mid May until the start of September. Guides will be responsible for leading high-quality rafting tours, ensuring the safety of all participants, and delivering an exceptional outdoor adventure experience.

Additional duties include preparing equipment, instructing participants on safety procedures, and assisting with the upkeep of rafting equipment and facilities.

• Proficiency in water navigation, whitewater rafting techniques, and understanding of safety protocols
• Knowledge of first aid, CPR certification, and rescue procedures
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage groups effectively
• Physical fitness and stamina to handle strenuous outdoor activities
• Adaptability to work in changing weather conditions and fast-paced environments
• Prior experience as a rafting guide or in outdoor/adventure tourism is an asset
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team in a customer-focused environment
• Passion for outdoor activities and commitment to safety and environmental responsibility
