Veterinary Receptionist

Animal Care Centre of Strathmore in Strathmore, AB, is currently welcoming a driven, enthusiastic, and friendly Veterinary Receptionist to join our team on a full-time basis.
Our goal at the Animal Care Centre of Strathmore is to provide quality veterinary care to animals large and small because we care. We work as a team to give our patients and clients the best experience possible – customer service is THE focus. Our team members enjoy coming to work and collaborating in a vibrant, fun environment, all while practicing quality medicine and providing an EXCELLENT Client Experience.
Responsibilities include:
Create a warm and welcoming environment for our patients and pet parents
Ability to answer a multiline phone system and track and book appointments effectively
Placing outbound calls to pet parents for follow-up and future appointment bookings
Respond and manage email correspondence; clients, referring veterinarians & internal office messages
Admitting and discharging pet patients
Invoicing/billing; creating estimates, obtaining pet owner confirmation and processing payments
Scheduling appointments
Excellent customer service skills; a real aptitude for putting people at ease and creating a welcoming environment
General housekeeping duties; cleanliness of reception area, pet holding areas and common areas
Availability to work Saturdays
