Dog Daycare Attendant

Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and dependable Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, engaging, and caring environment for dogs during their time at our facility. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals, excellent customer service skills, and the physical ability to handle the demands of the job.

• Supervise and interact with dogs to ensure their safety and well-being throughout the day
• Assist with feeding, watering, and administering medication as needed
• Monitor dog behavior and intervene when necessary to prevent conflicts or injuries
• Maintain cleanliness of the daycare area, including cleaning up after dogs and disinfecting play spaces
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog's activities and any concerns
• Assist with loading and unloading dogs from vehicles or kennels, which may involve heavy lifting
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure environment for both staff and animals

• Prior experience working with animals is preferred but not required; a genuine love for dogs is essential
• Solid customer service skills to interact professionally with pet owners and visitors
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling large or energetic dogs
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor
• Ability to work in a quick‑paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
