AboutThe Role
Edon Management is currently seeking a Equipment Technician to join our Operations team in Calgary. This role is responsible for snow removal, landscape maintenance, and minor mechanical maintenance of grounds and snow removal equipment. The successful candidate will support both field operations and preventative maintenance activities while ensuring safety, quality, and service standards are met.
Key Responsibilities Snow Removal & Landscaping- Perform snow removal and landscaping duties including shoveling, plowing, blowing, sweeping, mowing, trimming, and general grounds maintenance
- Inspect building grounds to ensure site conditions and curb appeal meet contract and company standards
- Operate equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, trucks with trailers, snowplows, and skid steers
- Assist with minor in‑house mechanical maintenance of grounds and snow removal equipment
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, blade sharpening, lubrication, and inspections
- Minimum 2 years of landscaping experience
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform minor equipment maintenance
- Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s Licence with a clean Driver’s Abstract
- Ability to drive a truck and trailer
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong customer service skills
- Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays as required
- Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM, with evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
